Year 8
Head of Year: Miss K McGee
I am very pleased to have this opportunity to write to you at the beginning of what will be another exciting and successful year here at Chadwell Heath Academy. I am delighted to welcome year 8 back after the summer break. I hope you all had an opportunity to spend some quality time with friends and family.
It is my privilege to continue to lead a promising cohort of pupils through their success at Chadwell Heath Academy, and I’m very excited to continue this journey through secondary school with such brilliant young people.
As a parent/guardian you also play an important role in the education of your child and your encouragement and involvement can help a child excel. I’m sure that you will agree that effective communication between home and school is one of the best ways to support students, and I hope that you will find the information below useful as we start the new year. In addition, there will be a range of inter-form events, non-uniform days, and other key dates. Please keep a keen eye on SIMS In-touch for additional information.

However, please do not hesitate to contact me if you feel the matter should be passed directly to me and I will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.
