Enrichment
Enrichment of the curriculum in and beyond the classroom is an extremely important part of our provision.
In school
Each subject area organises additional activities to enhance the learning of students that take place in school. There is a planned programme of visits to the school by artists, authors and other specialists, to inspire and inform our students.
Off-site
Subject departments also organise learning activities both during and after the school day that take place off-site. For example there are environmental activities, theatre trips, concerts, museums, visits to business and industry, and geography field work.
Extra-curricular
Staff offer clubs and activities linked to their personal interests as well as their subject areas. Some clubs are overseen by staff but are led by students who have particular expertise and interests.
