As part of science week, Year 7 attended a live show fabulous collection of counter-intuitive experiments involving exciting chemistry. Freezing fog, fire, flashes and bangs that pose the questions “What if...?” "Why?" and “What happens next?”.

As part of science week, Y7 attended a live show fabulous collection of counter-intuitive experiments involving exciting chemistry. Freezing fog, fire, flashes and bangs that pose the questions “What if...?” "Why?" and “What happens next?”.

A giant planetarium was placed inside the hall for Year 8, where pupils took an inspiring tour of our sun, solar system, galaxy and beyond. Our sun as a star, its birth, death and the evolution of other stars. The show included beautiful images and videos captured from satellites and the brand new James Webb telescope as well as a look at the starry night sky and how to spot some famous stars.
